I know it’s not easy for you to seek support, especially for your mental health.  Maybe it’s because you can’t see what the problem is or where it’s come from, but deep down… you know somethings just not right.

My mission?

To empower young teens and women to seek help early, and to provide holistic support in a comfortable and non-judgey environment (you’ll be surprised what we’ll unpack during our first session!).

My practice is a female only zone, offering bespoke counselling services and general mental health support exclusively to teen girls and women. 

With a choice of in-person consults in a relaxing and safe environment or via Telehealth (because I know that sometimes… you don’t feel like leaving your couch, or getting out of your pyjamas), we can speak from where you feel most comfortable.

Plucking up the courage to book a consult with a counsellor is a HUGE achievement and I can’t wait to hear your story.

Counselling plays a massive part in my life, being in the industry for over 12 years.  I’ve spent time counselling children at Headspace, taken on research and project roles and am currently working with kids in years 7-12 in a school setting.

As someone who values empathy, authenticity and integrity, you’ll feel supported and nurtured during your counselling session with me.  Our conversations will feel natural and non-judgemental, and you’ll leave each session with a belief that change is absolutely possible for you.

With over 12 years’ experience providing mental health and wellbeing services, you’ll benefit from my evidence based therapeutic approach that’ll give you the tools to start living your best life.  Working from a trauma informed and strength-based perspective, you’ll leave our sessions feeling a sense of safety and hope. 

Here’s the 3 main counselling methods used in my practice (and I’ve broken them down for you) that you’ll benefit from:

Cognitive behavioural therapy – an effort to change your thinking patterns (recognising how your thoughts are creating problems and re-evaluating them)

Acceptance and commitment therapy – using acceptance and mindfulness strategies in different ways with commitment and behaviour change strategies to increase psychological flexibility

Narrative therapy – separating you from your problem, encouraging you to rely on your own skills to minimise problems
